2009 MGM Golfers brought honor to the school!

It was indeed a great day for Mapua Alumni Par-Busters, especially for the MGM Golf Team who won the Team Championships.
Rommel Dimabuyu, EM-79, capped the “Longest Drive” trophy. Jojo Simon, EM 79, won the “Nearest To the Pin” trophy and obviously, “Best Team Uniform”. It was indeed a total domination by the MGM Golfers save for a few minor awards.
During the awarding ceremonies, the MGM golfers chose Louie Sarmiento, EM 79, as the perennial MGM Golf Team Captain (dinaan sa laki).
The first three Mapua Inter-affiliate Golf events, previously called Yuchengco Cup, were won by ME, EE, & CE. This year, it’s MGM and hopefully a repeat in 2010. It was indeed a victorious event for the MGM Golf Team proving once again that In Unity, there’s Strength!
